PRINCIPAL PRODUCER and Company MD

Jenny has over 10 years’ experience of working as a producer of notable and award winning documentaries for broadcast on TV in the UK and USA. Jenny sees documentaries as a way of revealing truths about individuals while drama shares universal truths.

She set up FoR Films in 2000 to produce ‘Delilah’ which was funded by The UK Film Council, Film London and South West Screen, and by ‘Working Title’ during development. ‘Delilah’ has had an honourable life on the festival circuit being highly commended by BAFTA/Kodak at Cannes in 2002. It has been taken up by distributors here and abroad.

FoR Films currently supports a slate of feature length and short films as a company and through collaboration with other film-makers.

Sam ParsonsSam Parsons - head of production

Head of Production

Sam has extensive experience in television and film production, both in the UK and in Italy, where she worked for the national television station RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana).  Her first documentary was aired on Italian television and since then she has produced several documentaries filmed around the world.  Sam now concentrates on line producing feature films, short films and music promos.  These include “Saxon” with actor Sean Harris, “Stag Knight” with actress Sandra Dickinson and the award winning short “You Like Chinese”.

Helen Stewart

LINE PRODUCER / PRODUCTION MANAGER and COMPANY SECRETARY

Helen has extensive experience across a wide range of projects for TV including, most recently, a trilogy of films for BBC Wales produced and directed by Michael Bogdanov and ‘The Private Life of a Masterpiece’ shown this summer on BBC2.

She also works on contract and as an independent contractor for UK and US broadcasters including BBC, ITV and C4

Angela Murphy

MARKETING and DEVELOPMENT

Angela has over 20 years experience in PR, communications and marketing, across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Specific expertise has been developed with education, IT and media-related clients.

In addition to strong strategic and analytical skills, Angela’s work has introduced her to the entire communications mix, from marketing, media relations and public affairs campaigns, to event management and corporate literature.

Until recently, Angela was the Director of Corporate Communications for the UK’s leading arts and humanities research body. In this role, she worked with a wide and varied audience, developing partnerships with a range of stakeholders, including industry, academica, government departments, public agencies, and the cultural and creative industries. She is a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for Arts, Manufacture and Commerce) and was a contributor to their major policy research programme, ‘The Future of Work in Media’.

Now she is leads FoR Films dynamic development and marketing team

Kavita Kapoor

INTERACTIVE PRODUCER

Kavita has worked for over 8 years in technology focussing entirely on Interactive Television and Film development. Currently she is technical lead at Mindhouse Limited; Managing Director of her own production company Europolis, (which is supported my the MK Arts Association UK), and is now also Interactive Manager at FoR Films.

Before this, as Channel Four tv’s sole application architect for their Interactive platforms, Kavita was responsible for the development of all their customer facing interactive software applications. She shared their vision for interactive entertainment ventures with a remit to provide minority interest programming. Her projects included ‘Big Brother’ and a raft of BAFTA award winning films supported by FilmFour.

Kavita has worked with many leading organizations helping create their Interactive strategies. He clients include Sega Dreamcast; NTL; and BBC Worldwide. She has also run her own interactive agency and has worked as a consultant within leading software and production companies.
