Here at FoR Films, we’re busy working on two major projects and can’t wait to share them with you!

We’re currently in pre-production of a Cronenberg-inspired dramatic horror, MONSTER, from award-winning director, Laura Smith. The very talented creative team behind the film are busy discussing how we will bring our creature to life. As well as a visual feast, Monster touches upon some incredibly relatable subjects such as isolation, identity crisis and the insecurities that follow us in our day-to-day.

The story follows Katee, a confident, successful photographer who is terrorised by uncharacteristic anxiety when her only remaining unattached friend becomes a father. Her terror manifests as grotesque physical changes which, she fears, are karmic retribution for life-choices she now regrets.

FoR Films is also proud to say that we are in the early production stages of a Bangladeshi- UK production, OMMI, about the creation of a digital boy with artificial intelligence. OMMI takes an interrogative approach to the morality of man and its relationship with technology. As technology absorbs into people’s everyday lives we are becoming more reliant on its practical capabilities, but what happens when it becomes emotionally close to us? When technology replicates us.
